Open a shared library

You open a shared library in almost the same way as a any other EndNote library.
However, when working with a library that others have shared with you, always remember to save the changes by selecting «Sync» from the» Tools» menu (or click on ).
This is different from working with your own EndNote library where you don’t need to save as the program automatically takes care of this.

How to open a shared library:

• Select «Open Shared Library» from the «File» menu
  

• A list of all EndNote libraries others have shared with you will appear
  Note that libraries are listed with email addresses (EndNote online usernames) rather than the libraries names

• Select current library, and click the «Open» button

You can now use the library as you would any other EndNote library.
