Reference window toolbar
The toolbar for single references consists of three tabs: Summary, Edit and PDF.
Three tool buttons are common to all tabs:
| – Opens the reference in a separate program window Useful if you want to have two references displayed at once. |
|
| – Specifies where the reference should appear «Split Vertically» shows the reference will be right for the list of references, while «Split Horizontally» displays the reference below the list |
|
| – Closes the reference view |
The Summary tab is divided into an upper and a lower part. The upper section provides a summary of the reference, while the lower section provides a preview of the reference in the selected style. Additionally, there is a button, Insert, to insert the reference into a Word document (the program must be open in the background for the button to be active). In addition, there is a button, Copy, to copy the reference to another program fully formatted in the selected style. (This corresponds to the Copy Formatted Reference function found under the References menu)
